He can and will gore mavericks that get too close. I’d say that his posture and height are a bit reminiscent of Crush Crawfish.Īs for Taurus’s combat capabilities, I imagined him having Gatling guns built into his gauntlets, and maybe several other retractable weapons tucked away in his armor. His body is also pretty different from the standard humanoid shape. It’s kind of just something he does without thinking. He also has a small tail that is always moving, even when he’s just standing there. I may put some army camo on his armor, but I guess it depends on how well it fits with his design. I will say that I imagined him having a peaked cap that sits between his fearsome horns, and a thick gold necklace that has the Taurus (♉) Symbol on it. I’m not sure how I should go about describing Taurus’s looks, but I do have an early design sketch of him (which I planned to refine digitally). Maybe they used to butt heads a bit in the beginning, but now he and Colonel get along just fine. I’m imagining that Colonel actually kind of had to earn his respect, because Taurus was reluctant to trust the judgement of an officer who was fresh out of the lab and didn’t have any real experience yet. He is a casual enjoyer of wines (not to mention fine human cuisine), and his living space is fragrant and well-decorated. As a result, he is very honest and hardworking, but also has an appreciation for the finer things in life. His personality is also heavily based off of that of the Zodiac sign. If the player doesn't access the stage or defeats Vile without the Special Weapon that is his weakness, Vile will escape and appears as the boss from Doppler Stage B. After escaping, X returns to the stage from which he accessed the teleporter capsule. After X defeats Vile, X has 50 seconds to escape from the factory before it is too late and he dies in the blast. When X finds Vile, he reveals that the factory is set to self-destruct in a matter of minutes, and keeps him busy to make sure he won't escape. If the player has defeated Volt Catfish, the stage's electricity will be activated and its two elevators will be functional, giving X a safe ride up the elevator shafts. It is a dilapidated factory full of falling debris and old machinery. The stage is set inside an abandoned factory that Vile set up as a trap for X.
